Downtown Festival Heatwave Rescue
Back in '04, a brutal August heatwave hit Little Rock. The city's annual downtown festival had their temporary toilets overwhelmed, with units baking in 100-degree sun and lines stretching forever. We saw the mess firsthand—overflowing, foul-smelling units that were shutting down the event's sanitation entirely. The organizers were frantic, facing a public health issue that could've ended the festival.
Reggie got the call at noon. By 2 PM, our crew had six fresh Rock City units on-site, strategically placed under shade trees near the food vendors. We serviced them twice daily, pumping out the old waste and refilling the hand sanitizer before the crowds hit. The festival ran smoothly for the rest of the weekend, and the city's parks department hasn't had a single sanitation complaint at that event since.
Reggie's crew saved our festival from becoming a health hazard.
